Yeah what would some ancient "magical" transformation have to do with a math problem? It just makes no sense from an in-universe perspective, as well as an out-of universe perspective. It's only use is for PL lists and debates, sometimes. |

No there are multipliers. In the sense that you could multiply the base by something to get the transformation's power

I think even being a reserve of power would make more sense, l0l. I also think it'd be different for everyone. | |

but this *50 comes from a guidebook, do not forget that, it was never officially stated, moreover the author directly said that the supa saiyan gain should be *10 or something like that Edited by Pointer, Apr 17 2015, 12:50 PM.

These guidebooks are the only thing to ever offer an answer to "how much more powerful does Super Saiyan make you" question in the first place. Even Toriyama's oft-referenced word on the matter essentially just boils down to, "it's 50x, but it didn't 'feel' that big to me when I drew it." He didn't say it "should" be anything other than what EVERY data source since the manga's original run has said it is. Like I said, it's up to the individual to use 50x or any other random set number in their own lists or whatever. But I see no reason to disagree with the one we've been handed on a platter time and time again. |

I love the 50× multiplier. I brush my teeth with it twice a day.

When you watch the Freeza arc, there was no multiplier, its like a potential or a legend which was unleashed by Goku. But if you watch the series, the Ssjin does have a multiplier.
